Access Driving Tuition driving Intensive driving course crash course driving school leicester lessons was established over 20 years ago offering high quality driving with intensive driving lessons in leicester crash course and now with the pooled
resources of over 000 years of teaching people to drive driving lessons. The main aim was
to build a driving School driving lessons which would bridge the gap between the solitary
one man band and the large national driving schools driving lessons, so we could offer high
calibre professional driving tuition / intensive driving cousre or crash course as sometime they are called at a reasonable price but still keep
the personal one to one approach with our pupils. driving lessons
To achieve
this goal we realised our strength lay mainly with the quality of the Driving
Instructor so right from the beginning we set out to recruit only high quality
Instructors.Driving lessons Instructors who not only excelled in their ability to teach people
to drive, but they also needed to have a proven track record of getting their
pupils through their test the vast majority being the first time. Driving lessons. We also
looked for patients I believe Access Driving Tuition has not only the
best Instructors but also the most patient in the area.Driving lessons. Also appearance smart
and tidy and last but not least we look for Instructors who had very high
communication skills people who were able to put the message across without
complicated jargon. driving lessons
The vehicles
used for tuition also needed to be of a high specification in most cases the
car you train in will be no more than a year old, being fully dual controlled
for the safety of the pupil. A variety of cars unlike most schools that stick
to one make and model Access Driving Tuition appreciate that our pupils
are individuals and prefer a choice.
After
launching Access Driving Tuition in Leicester our reputation soon spread
before long we had moved into Nottingham and Derby offering the same high
standards of tuition and by using only local instructors.driving lessons

Intensive / crash driving course is it for me?
This depends a little on your personality and ability to adapt to new things, intensive & crash driving courses are not only more frequent lessons over a short period of time the actual teaching will be more intensive. You will be working towards a dead line, i.e. your driving test date. You will not have the luxury of several months to prepare for your driving test. Our intensive driving instructors will offer you 100% commitment; in return you will also need to give the same amount of dedication.
Taking that aside though, intensive / crash driving courses can be exhilarating and very rewarding. If you need to pass your driving test within a short period of time and do not wish to take several months to do it, then an intensive course is for you.
Intensive driving courses also work very well for people who lead a busy life style and feel they forget most of what they have learned from the previous driving lesson on the 1 or 2 lessons per week ratio.
Intensive / crash courses are also not only for the confident pupils, in our experience nervous students also benefit, rather than going through the stress and nerves of a lesson each week. It seems better for them to get it done and out the way as quick as possible.
If you feel though after reading through our website a full Intensive is not for you, then please visit our sister website to see other lessons we offer.

The upside to an intensive / crash driving course
The upside to an intensive / crash driving course is that you could be on the road in a very short period of time and saving your self money as you do, because your driving lessons are more frequent the amount of tuition you need is usually reduced. Also Access Direct only offer one to one driving instruction giving you 100% of the instructor's time. Intensive courses have a higher pass rate due to all the driver training put in prior to the test date.
• Pass your test and be on the road fast
• Saves you money
• Higher than normal pass rate
• One to one instruction
• Intensive courses suit nervous and confident pupils
• An enjoyable way to learn to drive

The downside to an intensive / crash driving course
The downsides to doing an intensive / crash driving course is the initial outlay of funds, not everyone has a few hundred pounds spare or able to take a week off work, or time away from college. Intensive course’s can be quite strenuous mentally and physically.
• The initial out lay of money
• Taking time of work or college
• Physically and mentally demanding

Taking the theory test
Your hazard perception and driving theory test really needs to be taken before you book the intensive driving course, the reasons being we cannot book your practical driving test until you have a valid theory test pass certificate.
If you need help in booking your theory test then please give us a call and we will be happy to help.
The theory test explained
The driving theory test is made up of two parts; the multiple choice part and the hazard perception part. You need to pass both parts to pass the theory test. Once you have passed the theory test you can then apply to take your practical driving test.
Part one – Multiple choice
A question and several answer options will appear on a computer screen and you have to select the correct answer to the question by touching the screen. Some questions may require more than one answer.
You will be asked 50 questions in 57 minutes and the pass mark is 43 out of 50.
Part two - Hazard perception
The hazard perception part is also delivered on a computer but you respond by clicking a button on the mouse. You'll be presented with a series of 14 video clips, which feature every day road scenes. In each clip there'll be at least one developing hazard, but one of the clips will feature two developing hazards.
To achieve a high score you'll need to respond to the developing hazard during the early part of its development. The maximum you can score on each hazard is five. The pass mark for the car hazard perception part of the theory test is 44 out of 75.
You need to take your driving licence with you.

Taking the practical driving test
We will make sure you arrive at the test centre in plenty of time, try to relax do not turn the examiner into some mystical monster.
The practical driving test will include an eyesight check (your instructor will have already checked your eye sight).
Vehicle safety check questions
These will be asked at the beginning of you practical driving test.
These are basic safety checks that a driver should carry out to ensure the vehicle is safe for use. Although some checks may involve the candidate in opening the bonnet to identify where fluid levels would be checked, pupils will not be asked to touch a hot engine or physically check fluid levels. Your driving instructor will have comprehensively covered this subject with you before the practical driving test. Please Click Here for more information.
The practical driving test
During the driving test the examiner will give you directions, which you should follow. Test routes are designed to be as uniform as possible and will include a range of typical road and traffic conditions. During the driving test, the examiner will ask you to carry out set exercises.
Throughout the test you should drive in the way your driving instructor has taught you. If you make a mistake, don't worry about it, it might be a less serious driving fault and may not affect your result. The driving examiner will be looking for an overall safe standard of driving.
You can make up to 15 driving faults and still pass the test (16 or more results in failure). However, if you commit one serious or dangerous fault you will fail the test. Your driving instructor will have fully briefed you on what to expect on the practical driving test.
In your practical driving test there is an independent driving stage. Which is when you will be asked to drive independently for approximately 20 minutes.
This will be following road signs or a Sat nav.
